Celebrate Read Across America Day at the Jersey City Free Public Library

Happy Read Across America Day! Today, the Jersey City Free Public Library (JCFPL) invites you to join us in a nationwide celebration of reading. This special day is an opportunity for readers of all ages to explore new books, discover diverse themes, and find joy in literature of your preference.

Our mission is to create welcoming spaces where the joy of reading is accessible to everyone so we encourage patrons to visit any of our branches to explore the vast resources we have to offer. If you prefer to read at home or somewhere closer to you, check out our digital resources on our website or our Pop-Up Library which allows patrons to scan a QR code that can be found in our select locations around Jersey City to start reading.

Patron Feedback:

“The people at the Marion library are very nice. It’s a small library conveniently close to me, and it’s wonderfully quiet.”
