Information Services Department
The Information Services Department offers a welcoming, user-centered environment for all information seekers in our community. Our goal is to help in your journey to knowledge, understanding, and empowerment. We work to ensure our reference collection is timely, accurate, and reliable, and to provide equitable access and service to all users both inside and outside of the Library.
Ask us anything. We are here to meet your information and research needs. Our reference collection covers the widest possible range of subject interests and viewpoints, including areas of both historical and current concern. Reference sources are available in books, newspapers and other periodicals, microfiche/films, and online databases.
Visit our Virtual Reference Desk. JCFPL offers a wide range of online resources accessible from home and library staff are available by phone or chat to assist patrons with reference and research questions.
Attend our virtual programs. Our Information Services Department staff also provides free, virtual programs covering a variety of topics, including programs for older adults, and entrepreneurs. Visit our events calendar here. View recordings of past programs here, including a playlist of programs for entrepreneurs and job seekers.
