The Pop-up Library

The Jersey City Free Public Library is excited to announce the launch of its Pop-Up Library. Funded in part by the Jersey City Free Public Library Foundation, the Pop-Up Library will offer users free access to e-books and audiobooks to users on their smart devices throughout Jersey City.

In collaboration with Baker & Taylor, a leading supplier of library content, software, and services to public and academic libraries in the U.S., a QR code decal will direct users to the Pop-Up Library website. This gives them instant access to two curated collections with titles in English and Spanish at the partner sites listed on this page. No library card is required to use this service.

Usage Terms and Content Renewal

Users can check out up to three titles for two weeks. After this period, users can scan the QR code again to register and borrow new material. The JCFPL will refresh content periodically, ensuring users always have new materials to discover.
