We’re kicking off our socially distanced outdoor events of 2021 during Library Week, April 4-10.

A lot of people are tired of looking at the computer. They’re anxious to get outside, see friends, make new ones and do something that does not include staring at a screen.

Join us across Jersey City for a plethora of programs including story times, arts & crafts, music, movement classes, and more!

Jersey City Free Public Library is a constant.

Our Library is a cornerstone in our community and trusted hub for learning. We play a critical role in keeping patrons of all ages safe and productively engaged all year, especially during the summer months.

Help us expand and enhance our summer programming on Library Giving Day.

We provide innovative summer reading and active learning opportunities for children, youth and families during this critical time when schools are closed and the risk of falling behind is high.

Please help keep our Library strong by supporting our inclusive, educational, fun and free outdoor programs this summer.

Thank you. Your gift helps us continue our dedicated efforts.
