NOTICE TO RESPONDENTS
Sealed proposals will be received, opened and read in public by the Library Director at the Priscilla Gardner Main Library, Third Floor, Owen Grundy Room, 472 Jersey Avenue, Jersey City, NJ 07302 on Friday, January 3, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. prevailing time, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be reached, for the
JERSEY CITY FREE PUBLIC LIBRARY DEVELOPMENT CAPACITY PLAN
A full Request for Proposals (RFP), including specifications, may be viewed and/or obtained at the Office of the Library Director, Priscilla Gardner Main Library, Third Floor, 472 Jersey Avenue, Jersey City, NJ 07302. Respondents wishing to receive the RFP by postal or electronic mail shall call the Director’s Office at 201-547-4508 and provide a mailing and/or email address where the RFP will be sent.
The work consists of development capacity (fundraising) planning services resulting in a fundraising plan document and framework for implementation.
Respondents are required to comply with the requirements of PL 1975, c. 127, N.J.A.C. 17.27, regarding Affirmative Action, Executive Order 11246 regarding Equal Employment Opportunity, and Chapter 33, Laws of 1997, regarding disclosure of partners and stockholders.
All proposals shall be irrevocable not subject to withdrawal and shall stand available for a period of ten (10) days after the final date on which submissions will be accepted.
All proposals must comply with specifications and must be submitted to the Library Director’s Office when called for at the time and place aforementioned. Proposals must be submitted individually in a sealed envelope, addressed to the Library Director, Jersey City Free Public Library, with the name of the project and the name of the party submitting the bid written on the outside of the envelope. No proposal will be received after the hour aforesaid. At such time and place, all proposals will be unsealed immediately, the contents thereof will be publicly announced and a proper record of prices and terms will be made.
The Library Director reserves the right to reject any and all bids received, or portions thereof, if deemed to be in the best interest of the Jersey City Free Public Library to do so.
