2020 Census is Here!

What is the 2020 Census? The 2020 Census counts every person living in the United States and five U.S. territories. This year you will be able to respond online, by phone, as well as by mail. Responses are kept confidential, and it’s easy to respond in 12 non-English languages. The Census count directs federal funding for the next ten years to our community. Hospitals, schools, roads, transportation and more all receive the federal funding based on Census data. Help your community receive the federal funding it needs for the next 10 years by taking 10 minutes to complete your 2020 Census!

How to Respond to the Census:

Most households received their invitation to respond to the 2020 Census between March 12 – 20. These official Census Bureau mailings will include detailed information and a Census ID for completing the Census online.

In addition to an invitation to respond, some households will receive a paper questionnaire (sometimes known as the census form). You do not need to wait for your paper questionnaire to respond to the Census. Please complete your census form online, by phone, or by mail when your invitation to respond arrives.
