MAIN LIBRARY CLOSES FULL WEEK (November 24-28) due to Construction Demolition & Thanksgiving Holiday

JERSEY CITY, N.J.   November 23, 2014 –  The Main Library in Jersey City, 472 Jersey Avenue, will be closed for the entire Thanksgiving week – on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Saturday, November 24, 25, 26 & 29, due to the demolition of the first floor restrooms, and on Thursday & Friday, November 27 & 28, for the Thanksgiving holiday.

“We apologize for any inconvenience,” said Library Director Priscilla Gardner. “The contractors are trying to complete this one task while we are closed so that the air quality will be fine when tested before our return. Given that, we expect the Main Library to open again on Monday, December 1, at 9 a.m."
