This year again, the Summer Reading Program committee made a concerted effort to raise monies to subsidize the program, with successful results! The committee members this year – Susan Stewart, Liz Cartaina, Francina Stevens, Mary Quinn & Tyara Tucker – brought experience, new ideas, and enthusiasm to the program. Kudos to you all, and thank you! We were able to get all the participants SRP T-shirts, arts and crafts supplies, movies, two trips (Camp Liberty & The Funflex) which included lunch, and a performance at three branches from Bonnie the Magic Lady!
804 children & YA finished the 8 week program and together they read 17,052 – AMAZING!!!!!!
