The exploratorium
is a museum dedicated to the public understanding of science, art, and human
perception. Founded in 1969 by physicist Frank Oppenheimer, it has pioneered
the role of museums as active teaching centers with original exhibitry and
innovative programming based on an interactive approach to learning.
The
Nine Planets is an overview of the history, mythology, and current scientific
knowledge of each of the planets and moons in our solar system.
"Science
Bob" Pflugfelder has been a fan of science since he was just six
years old. Over the years, he has been exploring the scientific world with
thousands of students. The site contains lessons for students, and is a
great resource for teachers. Join him in the wonderful world of science.
The
Franklin Institute Online strives for currency and accuracy while preserving
the “entertaining” side of learning for the child in all of
