Right Pet for You, SRP 2006

As part of the Summer Reading Program, Nikki Dawson from the Liberty Humane Society (LHS) visited the regional branches of the Jersey City Free Public Library. On August 8th, she stopped by the Main Library with a few of her furry friends. Nikki spoke about choosing and taking care of pets and about the shelter that rescues these types of animals. All of the pets she brought were strays that have been rescued by the LHS. The children were then given the chance to interact with the animals and feed them.
