Homage to Puerto Rican Culture

The Perfecto Oyola Biblioteca Criolla y Centro Cultural was honored to have as its esteemed guest, José A. Irrizarry, professor at Boricua College in New York City, on Friday, April 28, 2006. Professor Irrizarry spoke on the life and work of Ramón Emeterio Betances, the father of Puerto Rico. Rounding out the evening’s program was a musical presentation by Nelson Cotto y su Grupo Tipico.
