Upcoming Historical Project Events:
The Historical Project is a co-sponsored program of the Jersey City Free Public Library and the Division of Cultural Affairs of the Department of Health and Human Services.
We publish historical and folkloric materials. Many articles are available on this website.
Our public programs include bus tours, storytelling, and slide shows at library branches, and at non-profit community centers.
The programs are suitable for the general public, senior citizens, and school children in the sixth grade and up.
Our main speaker is Bob Leach, the Project's founder. Cynthia Harris of the New Jersey room is available for vintage postcard slide shows.
If you wish to arrange a free storytelling session, bus tour or slide show at your church, school or non-profit community center, please contact us by telephone (201) 547-6591 or click here bobleach@jclibrary.org
